Holly Hill Manor Talking Rock, GA

2020 was a rough year for weddings.  Brides faced having to downsize their weddings by half or more, and many venues were forced to cancel them altogether.  While I think we all hoped that 2021 would be 'normal' again, I think with it being July now and many cities still placing restrictions on gatherings or guests feeling uncomfortable with large groups, we can joyfully look forward to 2022.

...Which brings me to Holly Hill Manor.  As a wedding photographer in a small town, many of the venues that I've been at, while beautiful and fantastically managed, they just don't accommodate large events well.  200 people in a barn with one renta-potty isn't ideal amIright? For some brides, the option to host that big wedding where she can invite all of her friends and family into one BIG celebration for her most important day, is a major need.

Holly Hill Manor is a venue that I was invited to check out by a friend of mine that helps plan and coordinate weddings and as soon as I saw the photos of the construction and finished spaces, I was all on board.  This venue is breath-taking and the owners clearly invested well into what they knew a bride with a large guest list would need.  Between the farmhouse style solid wood tables, the massive amount of chairs for both ceremony and reception on site, and the amazing chandeliers, what more could you need for a canvas!?

Holly Hill Manor is an all-in-one venue with space for caterers to prepare your plated, or buffet meals to your guests.  Both Bride and Groom have spaces to prepare and get ready.  The grounds are well maintained and offer stunning views of the rolling hills and wood lines.  The building itself serves as a perfect backdrop for those large family photos that require everyone to be included.

And did I mention those chandeliers?

Holly Hill is an all indoor-venue which means rain or shine, you know you are covered.  The windows lining each wall provide a perfect amount of romantic lighting and just enough 'natural' to help a bride feel like her day is both safe from the elements, and connected to them.

If you are looking for something new, something different, something uniquely different from the same ol' venue that we've seen time and time again on the pages of Pinterest, come check out Holly Hill.
