Catherine and Ryan - Married [Red Orchard Shelbyville, KY photographer]

The following wedding was brought to you by gorgeousness, craftiness, and a most awesome couple.
When I first met with this bride, she showed me an image of her venue, and I died a little on the inside...of pure joy.
This sweet couple has been a blast to work with from day one with their engagement session that took place at the same locale...even if I called the groom the wrong name. (what's in a name anyways?)  ;)

So without further adieu...I give you the world's most perfect barn wedding.
Shout out to my awesome second shooter who drove from Cincin to help me out!  Thanks so much Jenny Monroe Photography!

In all honesty, this wedding was one of the first ones I ever booked, and nearly the last to shoot for the year.  Special thanks to Catherine and Ryan for taking a chance on me...I hope you don't regret it.  Your day was beautiful and I think you guys are awesome people :)

Ben and Jessica Married (Louisville, KY wedding photographer)

They say you should marry your best friend.  So I introduce to you...two best friends.

When deciding whether or not to do a first look, they went back and forth, but in the end, decided that they wanted to see each other.  To comfort each other's nerves, to embrace and absorb the moment that was about to be, their wedding day.

It's always an honor to watch a couple say their vows, to be a part of their special day.  Not many people get to follow along throughout the emotional roller coaster all day, and I LOVE doing it.  From moms zipping up dresses, best friends putting on garters, seeing your groom for the first time, and the first dance with dad.  Not a moment can be missed as they are all equally important as the one before, and the one next.

Congratulations to you two...may you enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!
